When brass and copper are aged using patina solutions they gain color and texture that can serve as an embellishment, a structural item, and as both focal image and background for inclusion in mixed media work. In this class, I’ll cover every technique I know for applying image, pattern, and text to mesh using patina. We’ll even create a bead for embellishment. We’ll create an unbound portfolio of pages that will be both beautiful to look at and serve as a sourcebook for future work with mesh. Kit fee of $10 paid to instructor at beginning of class.
