Learn the fundamentals of working in encaustic wax.  Using collage elements and both clear and colored wax, we will learn different methods of using wax, from creating a color background, to embedding and on to surface decoration, to complete a mixed media piece in class.  A kit fee of $10 will be payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.

Supplies: 

• Collage items – both 2 and 3 dimensional.
• Blow dryer or heat gun (some will be provided, but to avoid waiting in line, you may want to bring your own)
