It starts as roving and ends in a wonderful purse everyone wants. We will use and learn easy and fun techniques for wet felting. We will decorate our bags with dry felting techniques, ideas of what to put on your bag is our only challenge. I will also show you fun felted soaps and other ideas you will want to try. Materials Fee of $5 payable to instructor at beginning of class.
Supply List:
• 6 oz wool roving (for felting) any color you want for your bag
• a small variety of different colors to build your designs (I will have some to share)
• Bubble wrap 12”x 24”
• one pair of inexpensive pantyhose or any old ones you may have- we do need the panty part
• 1 large garbage bag
• 2 large bath towels
• Felting needles 38 gauge all purpose needles are fine
• three prong felting needle holder if you have one
• needle felting brush for a work surface or a dense pillow form 8”x 8”
• a design to put on your bag
