Crows are fascinating and intriguing creatures with rich symbolic meanings across various cultures and belief systems. They are known for their scavenging habits and problem solving skills. Their mysterious nature symbolize the unknown and transformation. They are often seen as symbols of wisdom and intelligence.
Join us for the day binding and prepping our own personal crow journal for showcasing our intrigue with this fascinating corvid. You will be provided with the basic book structure (which includes covers and 12 boxboard pages), binding linen, 5 collage pages rich with folklore and imagery, book closure and wall mounting hardware. You will also be provided with metal attachments for adding all your wonderful, beaded elements and found objects to the cover of your journal once your journal is completed. Additional collage sheets, crystals, and scavenged treasures will be available to enhance your journal.

Student Level-
Beginner to Advanced

 

Materials Fee $40 paid at beginning of class includes:

- 12 boxboard pages
- Front and back book cover
- Book closure and mounting hardware
- Binding linen
- Collage sheets with imagery
- Use of tools and additional materials

 

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

Bring some of your favorite journaling supplies, including a few decorative papers, washi tapes a few paint colors (craft paints are fine) and basic bling.

There will be additional collage sheets and some embellishment material available, but it is recommended that beading and hanging embellishments be added after the journal is completed. Dangles and embellishments attached to the journal make for difficult journaling.
