Learn how to create beautiful, layered, magical portraits! I’ll take the fear and guesswork out of how to draw faces.  I can teach anyone at any level how to draw a simple face, take what you already know, and add layers and depth to bring your portraits to life!  You will learn simple techniques for drawing a proportionate face, how to create shading and highlights, how to add skin tones with different mixed-media techniques, how to add texture & dimension, and how to express your unique voice and style.

Materials Fee $20 paid at beginning of class includes:

use of shared supplies such as collage paper, washi tape, oil pastels, spray ink, stencils, paint, paint pens

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

Art Journal (mixed media weight paper)
Shiva oil pain sticks (white, yellow ochre, red or pink)
Basic kit: scissors, glue stick, pencil
Optional: your favorite stencils, stamps, collage paper
