Create you very own Waldorf inspired Baby Doll! Learn to create the head and then needle felt features of the face to bring out each dolls unique personality. You will learn to use a felting needle as well as hand painted or hand stitched eyes to make you doll come to life. You will learn to stuff and assembly techniques your doll as well as soft sculpting optional fingers and toes.

Kit Includes most of what you need to make one doll:
Pre-sewn doll head and body using premium double knit doll body fabric. (light, medium, and dark skin tones will be available) These will be pre-sewn to maximize your class time, you will also receive a pattern to make more dolls and clothing at home.
Wool roving and knit tubing for the head and features.
Heaving thread/cord for head shaping
Felting needles
Pre-sewn diaper so baby doesn’t go home naked! Pattern provided for additional clothing and access to videos for assembling clothing
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
Basic Supplies:
- Fabric Tube turners (Dritz Quick Turn or similar)
- Pencil for marking
- Scissors for fabric and paper
- Thimble and thread snips, if you use them
- 4” or longer doll making needle
- Seam ripper
- Favorite white glue
- Sewing pins
- Hand sewing needles in multiple sizes and neutral thread
Additional Supplies
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Yarn or fibers for hair If you choose to have hair on your doll. Traditionally these dolls use mohair but I use what I like. Bring options in your choice of color or texture. Unique yarns can be fun!
- Black Pigma permanent markers in .02 and .08
- Colored pencils and water soluble crayons for faces/eyes
- White 1mm Posca pen
- OPTIONAL Doll/animal stuffing fork (Barbara Willis or similar)
