Join artist Micah Goguen for this easy workshop on blending portraits and understanding value. This isn't about drawing, we will print a template of your portrait and you will have outlines to work with so you can just focus on shading. You can use a portrait of your own but you have to email it ahead of time so it can be printed. Value in the photo is everything so I will have a half dozen good images to choose from. Remember that the success of the portrait relies on the success of the photo reference. All materials will be provided and we will mostly be using grey scale pastel and charcoal pencils. I will have wax paper and mat board to secure your images for a mess free transport home. Please don't be scared of this class just because it is a face! All of these people did it and had no experience.
