Experimental Monoprinting & Creating A Gellin’ Journal
Learn the exciting world of monoprints by using Gel-Press Plates with unusual textural elements on non-traditional surfaces to create layers of FUN! Students will experiment and pull several prints on a variety of unusual surfaces. Supplies to bring to class:
Brayer, Awl, Bone Folder, Scissors, Needle, Book-binding Thread (any waxed linen or cotton thread in your favorite color), Straight edge/T-square, Self-healing Mat, Xacto knife. NOTE: Students may want to use a blow dryer to help speed up drying if electrical outlets permit. Trish will also bring some extra of these items to share if needed.
