This class is about incorporating the look of metals into abstract compositions. You will learn to prepare, and use, in an abstract painting, materials such as embossed aluminum foil, hammered wire, metallic glue gun shapes, rust paper, metallic paints, and metal embellishments. Mixed media paintings containing metallic elements have a soft glow and shine that only real metals can provide.

Gel Medium, regular
Supports – 1 cradled wood panel size 6x6 or 8x8 inches
Heavy duty Reynolds aluminum foil
Glue gun and glue sticks (if you have one, or we can share)
Selection of brushes suitable for w/c and acrylic, small palette knife
