Do you paint using a disposable styrofoam plate as your palette? This class will show you how to create beautiful abstract compositions using your leftover used palettes. You will learn Carol’s simple technique for turning waste into treasure. Each student will create one or more 6x6 or 5x7 abstracts.

Materials Fee: $10 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
YES paste, texture mediums, use of templates, Hefty heavy-duty foam plates, GAC 800, instructional handouts.            

 Supply list students should bring:Golden Fluid Acrylics - Carol’s must have colors are Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold, Quinacridone Magenta, Turquoise (Phthalo), Carbon black, and Titanium white.
Cradled wood panel – 6x6 inch, or 5x7 inch ONLY. Nothing larger. Please gesso your panel before class. Canvas board panels may also be used.
Short handled synthetic brushes - 3/4 inch flat brush, and small detail brush
Ball point pen
Large water container (32 oz) Don’t be one of those people trying to use an 8 oz water
glass to hold your water. Your colors will be more vibrant if you have a clean brush.
Spray water bottle (an old hairspray bottle works great), scissors, paper towels, small palette knife (1 inch blade), spray alcohol bottle (optional)
