We are offering two options with Art Classes
and a week with excursions only

Week 1: Artist in Residence - Sept 1-8, 2024

This residency is for any visual artist who is looking to grow exponentially through an intensive week of focused work. The setting is in a small, intact medieval town in Umbria, Italy in the Duke's palace converted hotel (has WIFI) that sits high above the town. The town, Gubbio, is beautiful, clean and quiet, except for church bells. The art room will be available 24/7.
Lisa Bebi is a professional artist, art mentor and teacher with over 20 years’ experience. You can expect a positive shift in your work, questions answered and "blocks" to become unblocked. Success is achieved through work and insightful critiques.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity giving you 5 days of special instruction. Class will start at 9:00am and finish at 3:00pm. This will give you plenty of time to explore Gubbio or take a small trip around the area. You will have one free day before you depart and an excursion will be included for that day. The space is limited to 8 people. Once you register, Lisa will have a zoom meeting on what to bring and what will be available.

Gubbio is in Umbria, Italy in the neighbouring region of Le Marche, Italy. The town is beautifully located on the lower slopes of Mt. Ingino. Gubbio is an extremely ancient town mentioned in the famous Eugubine Tablets and was in the past the capital of Umbria. Gubbio's compact town centre has a good selection of mediaeval, Gothic and Renaissance structures built of gray limestone and has great views over the beautiful countryside. Just outside the town is a Roman amphitheatre. Gubbio has not been overwhelmed with tourists, making it a perfect location for us to explore.

We will be staying at Hotel Relais Ducale, a preserved medieval structure.  For further info on the hotel, click on HOTEL.

• Transport to/from Gubbio (we will have info for you)
• Travel Insurance (this is highly recommended)
