Learn to create a painting by using photocopies as an underlying start.
Create a personal “paintover”masterpiece of family member(s), loved one(s) or found ancestors. Your images may be sourced from your personal family album or form a “found” family album.* Or you may use the fun images supplied in class.
Learn how to paint in the “paintover” style. You will also learn how to adhere the finished painted photocopies onto canvas without leaving bubbles or wrinkles.
No painting experience needed!
  

$65 Materials fee paid to instructor at beginning of class includes:
EVERYTHING* you will need to take this class. You will leave with a a finished painting(s) on canvas.
 Your images need to be prepared by Lisa. She will bring them to class. You must send up to 4 .jpg images to Lisa no later than a week in advance so she has time to prepare photocopies for painting.

Feel free to bring your own brushes if you have favorites that you are more comfortable using. Not provided: apron, gloves, water cans, paper towels.
