This class will delve into painting techniques in enamel. If you are experienced in painting, your skills will help you in tackling these techniques. If you are new to painting, don’t fear. I can teach you some simple approaches to painting that will build confidence in your skills.
I will introduce you to watercolor enamels. I will show you how to layout your image in pencil, preparing the watercolors for painting, and different ways to apply the paint. After the demonstration, you will be able to practice painting on a prepared enamel surface.
Materials Fee $25 in cash paid at beginning of class includes:
3 firing stations (torch, stand, and a fireproof mat), vitreous enamel paints, painting medium, brushes, tools for scratching, transfer paper, and prepared copper shapes.
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
Bring simple images you would like to paint. if you have your own torch and stand, you are welcome to bring it, I will have extra fireproof mats
