This handmade house-shaped substrate is the perfect base for creating your very own Divine Shrine. We will cover a variety of tile-making techniques that include stamping into clay, painting on the raw clay surface, using molds, embedding a variety of objects into clay, easy transfers, gold leaf and collage on clay. In addition to leaning how to work with polymer clay, students will also learn mixed media techniques for using stencils and rubber stamping on the sides of their shrine. This shrine is freestanding or can be hung on the wall which gives one lots of options for display.
Materials fee $20 paid directly to instructor at beginning of class includes: wood house, paint and related supplies, gold leaf, collage images, transfers, Mica powders, Rub n Buff, gel medium, seed beads, Apoxie Sculpt
