Spinner, fidget, fiddle, what ever you want to call it….it is fun!
Lots of fun lessons in this project, making a ring that fits, wide bands, narrow bands, what will work for the spinner and what is not so good. Soldering, forming the curve in the ring to hold the spinners. Working with different metals!
Materials Fee $50 paid at beginning of class includes:
silver sheet, silver, gold fill, copper and brass wire enough for two or three rings. Sanding papers and use of equipment to complete this project.
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
saw frame and 2/0 blades. Butane torch (fuel will be provided if you can’t bring it). Basic jewelry pliers, flat nose, chain nose, parallel round forming. Jewelry files #2 cut. Bench pin. Flush cut cutters. Solder pick. Steel bench block. Rawhide and chasing hammers.
