Loose and Free Expressive Painting is a style of creating that is vague yet evocative. It is the suggestion of form in an artwork that engages the imagination through color and pattern. In this daylong workshop, students will be guided in a variety of loose creative techniques including sketching, watercolor painting and also mixed-media with acrylics.
This workshop is designed to guide you in a smorgasbord of loose and expressive art techniques that rely more on creative instinct than precision or skill.

You will be guided step by step in a variety of tips, tricks and approaches to the blank canvas to loosen up your art making. This class will be especially beneficial to those who struggle with perfectionism. Discover the freedom and ease of loose and expressive painting that will make your artworks more lively and engaging.

Empty Palette
#4 Watercolor Round Brush
#12 Round Brush
Stabilo Pencil
Fine Point Black Pen
Transfer Paper
Photo references
Shared Watercolor paints, acrylic inks, acrylic paints

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

9x12 Watercolor Paper, 140# COLDPRESS (at least 8 sheets)
PENCIL
Optional :: Your fave acrylic and/or watercolor paint colors though I will have plenty on hand from my studio
