“Not all those who wander are lost.” J.R.R. Tolkien.
Are you like me and love to travel and wander?
It feeds the artist’s soul to behold a new vista, listen to the music of a different language, smell the appetizing aromas of unfamiliar foods – to have an adventure!
This class will be about how to capture all of this and perfect the fine art of seeing – capturing the essence of a place, the colors, the vistas, the moment. Students will be provided with colorful Gel Press printed journals to fill with shapes, words and images. Trish will demonstrate how she captures moments while traveling through her unique way of watercolor quick-sketching by drawing with her brush!
Students will learn mixed media techniques for filling their journals by integrating watercolor sketches & words with the fun pre-printed shapes & patterns on their journal cover pages – creating a theme and reinforcing the important design principal of harmony! This class will inspire you to stop and soak in the essence of a place in the most creative way!
