Making art with oil and cold wax medium involves a ton of experimentation You’ll learn to layer, build up, scrape back, texture, collage, and most exciting of all, experiment on your oil and cold wax pieces on wood panels and oil paper.
Materials Fee $40 in cash paid at beginning of class includes:

4 cold wax metal tools to keep
Real papyrus to work on
Selection of colours, oil paints and pigment sticks
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
a couple of cradled PLAIN wood panels 12x12 inch (no gesso)
a trowel style painting knife (4inch),
brayer, or dough scraper
painters' blue tape, ,
anything to make texture in paint such as old kitchen implements, combs,
Stencils, stamps, mesh, corrugated cardboard pieces, tissue paper, wax paper. etc…
Freezer paper for palette,
wax paper and pizza boxes for taking home wet paintings
