In this watercolor workshop, we will recreate old-world charm by painting quaint Italian and French windows and doorways. These little gems are welcoming, inviting, and fun to paint, especially when adorned with flowers pots that overflow with bright, colorful flowers. We will use a variety of watercolor techniques to achieve rich darks, cool colorful shadows, sparkling sunlight, and interesting textured stone walls. Jacqueline will share her method on how to achieve realistic shadows. We will play with mixed media, granulating pigments, and combining pen and ink techniques to embellish our paintings. Windows and doors give us the perfect setting for trying and learning new watercolor techniques. All levels welcome.
