I love old things, things with a history, a story to tell.
We will alter an antique cotton weaving shuttle into a charming wall piece with small items that need a home. Your treasures will make this a unique and original work of art.

Kit Fee $40.00 paid in cash before class includes:
Antique Cotton Shuttle
(Length : +- 15”
Hollow in Shuttle: 1 ¼” x 3 ½” x ½” deep)

You need to bring:
Ephemera (old paper, stamps etc.)
Items for attaching to shuttle such as 
old doll parts, pods, buttons, small wooden blocks,
little toys, charms etc. (See picture for ideas)
Paintbrushes
superglue
Pin Vice and drill bit 1.5mm
Small Hammer
Screwdrivers
Toothpicks

I will bring the following to share:
Imitation Gold Leaf
Leaf Size

As the shuttle is made from wood, some items can be adhered with epoxy. Other items may need to be attached with screws, pins or nails.
 I will have an assortment of brass pins, screws and nails for your use.
