These cheerful barrel pincushions are made using various colors of wool felt and Renaissance© Ribbons (designed in collaboration with artists such as Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett and Sue Spargo). Select your materials from
my LARGE assortment of ribbons, die-cut wool felt and buttons. Creating your own pincushion is guaranteed to make sewing more fun!
In this class you’ll learn the following:
• how to select materials highlighting various color combinations
• embroidery stitches, including running stitch, French knots, stem and satin stitches, blanket stitch
• embroidery and embellishment techniques
• how to assemble, stuff and finish your pincushion
Students will receive supplies to make 2 pincushions.
