Ready. Set. Paint!
In this full-day class, let’s rise to the challenge of painting as many portraits as possible, each completed in 30 minutes or less! We will start by striving to master the fundamental skills of painting: precision in drawing lines, the mixing of primary colors, maintaining accurate proportions, and effectively using values to define form. Then, we’ll welcome the art of letting go by setting a timer and painting our hearts out in 30-minute painting sessions. This dynamic and playful approach not only cultivates foundational skills but also encourages creative exploration within the constraints of a limited palette and time frame.

Materials Fee $15 paid at beginning of class includes:
reference images + paint
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
A few drawing pencils
9” x 12” Sketch pad,
9” x 12” a Pad of Hot Press Watercolor Paper
A variety of small to medium flat and round brushes
A Container for water
Soap + a rag to clean brushes
