In this workshop you will create a soldered crown with the centrepiece being a cathedral arch shape glass with additional soldered square and rectangle shaped glass forming the circular front. There will be many color options and images, papers, etc. to create your special one of a kind crown. This is a fun piece to create! Let your imagination run free with this project!
Materials Fee $50 paid at beginning of class includes:
Glass, copper tape, papers and images, lamp banding, metal, buttons, rhinestones, lace, words, glass glitter, patina.
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
-Cookie sheet for your solder station
-Weller 100 watt W100PG soldering iron, Studio Pro soldering iron stand, sal ammoniac block, Amerway Tourmaline Lead Free 1 lb. roll of solder (all of these can be purchased here: www.glasssupplies41.com)
-Harris water soluble lead free flux (www.grainger.com)
-Scissors
-Jewelry pliers set
-Apron
