A SOLDERED SHRINE WITH A VINTAGE RESIN DOLL OR A RESIN MARY MADONNA STATUE

This is a fun mixed media class with all the fun things. You will be making the arch shaped shrine and then collaging it with a mix of different papers. Then we will be embellishing the shrine with some soldered trim.

You will have your choice of either a vintage reproduction resin doll or a vintage reproduction Mary statue. I pour these molds up myself and will have them available in your kits. You will paint your pieces and you will have the choice of antiquing it with some dark wax, or not.

This is great for the beginner to soldering.

Materials Fee $50 paid at beginning of class includes:

Wood base, poster board, cardboard, papers, copper tape, resin figurine, glass glitter, use of paints, rhinestones, dark wax, patina.

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

-Cookie sheet for your solder station
-Weller 100 watt W100PG soldering iron, Studio Pro soldering iron stand, sal ammoniac block, Amerway Tourmaline Lead Free 1 lb. roll of solder (all of these can be purchased here: www.glasssupplies41.com)
-Harris water soluble lead free flux (www.grainger.com)
-Scissors
-Jewelry pliers set
-Apron
