In this workshop I will teach you how to make these simple, fat little chunky books using canvas, plaster, metal & embellishments.
You will learn several metal design techniques including metal transfers, and I will teach you how to create beautiful textures and surfaces using gesso, plaster, paint and ink. You will learn basic bookbinding skills and a variety of my favorite surface design techniques.
This workshop is suitable for those with all levels of experience. The books are approximately 3”x3”, they have a total of 23 pages & we will be making 2 different books.
I love to work in these little books and I would love to show you how to make your very own!
I hope that you will join us for a fun day of art making, connecting and creative fun!
