Students are guided step by step to create a 9x12 mixed-media collage that showcases an inspirational word or quote. Students will be taught mixed-media collage techniques of layering between collage and acrylic paint with various methods of mixed-media to add interest. Words can be applied in a variety of ways including with printed quotes, rubber stamping or writing. Class materials will include a print sheet of words and quotes students may choose from that will have empowering words as well as a few sassy ones!
Students may of course bring their own prepared quote to collage into their artwork. This is a great opportunity to create a unique work of art that spotlights a word or quote that is meaningful for you or as a gift for someone in your life.
This is a beginner friendly class as well as useful for the seasoned art maker who wants to expand their skill set. All levels welcome !

Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
Just bring You! All materials provided, except for scissors. If you prefer cutting pieces for collage, plan to bring a pair.
