This fairly simple process truly ends up a fine, self-standing art sculpture. Day one we will begin by creating individual leaves by manipulating wire with pliers. We will be hammering each leaf flat to prepare for the next step.
Day two will consist of choosing color and dying. We will form the arms and begin attaching and balancing. I will do a full, precise demo of each stage of the process. At end of class, we will all take home a stunning art piece.  

Supply Fee- $30 payable to instructor at beginning of class includes:
All the wire - 2 gauges of both black and silver, jump rings, wooden skewers, wire cutters, hammering surfaces, masking tape, wax paper, hardening element, and a myriad of color dyes to choose from. I will supply rock bases that I harvest from the shores of Lake Michigan, and extra of everything.

Please bring to class:
Pliers - needle nose, flat nose, a hammer (all available at large craft stores in the jewelry dept.), small ¼” paint brush.
Optional: a metal block if you have one, wire cutter, paper towels, apron, baby wipes, gloves
