Discover how to create old-world charm by painting quaint Italian and French windows and doors. These are so pretty to paint, especially when adorned with flowerpots overflowing with bright, colorful flowers. We will use a variety of watercolor techniques to achieve rich darks, cool colorful shadows, sparkling sunlight, and interesting textured stone walls. We will play with mixed media, granulating pigments, water-soluble pens, and pen and ink techniques to embellish our paintings. Windows and doors give us the perfect setting for trying and learning new watercolor techniques. All levels welcome.

Materials Fee $12 paid at beginning of class includes:

extra paints, artist tape, acrylic gold paint, white gouache, liquid latex, salt, masa paper, water-soluble pens, gold pens, tracing paper, photos
