Make it Mixed Media

$ 170

In my mixed media art I like to say that, I start with a broom and end with a needle, meaning I start really big and free and end with small meaningful details. We will spend the day painting, drawing, collaging and print-making on a variety of substrates, such as paper, copies, mag pages, folders, fabric scraps, painters canvas and more to create your mixed media stash.We will create pieces that are layered with scribbles, mark-making, stencils, stamping and lots of other fun tools.We will also be exploring color, texture and pattern. Additionally you will make your own stamps, stencils and collagraph plates to create your own unique pieces. The pieces that you make can be used is a variety of mixed media art works, such as collage, book-making and multi-media painting. You will walk away with a stack of pieces that can be used later, I call this my art stash. I will be brining lots of stencils and stamps to play with but if you have your favorites you can bring those to play with.
