We will begin by making a gatefold book with closures. Using India Ink liquid and pens, we will create our own mark-making narrative onto two 72” x 3” strips. These strips will be attached into the gatefold side by side and will pull open in either direction when the book is unlocked.
This versatile, permanent ink will be used to pour, drip, spatter, doodle on and even etch into. In this class we will also be making our own Chops to stamp in red as our personal signatures.
