This fairly simple process truly ends up a fine, self-standing art sculpture. We will begin by creating individual leaves by manipulating black wire with pliers. We will be hammering each leaf flat to prepare for the next step.
We will be covering each leaf with beautiful, naturally hued tea bags. Art-marking: the tea bags lend themselves beautifully to marking with burn holes, if desired. The arms will be formed, attached, and balanced to its rock base. This wire may rust in spots, which I believe adds to the Earthen aspect of these pieces.
I will do a full, precise demo of each stage of the process. At end of class, we will all take home two stunning art pieces.

All the wire - 2 gauges of black steel, tea bags, wire cutters, incense sticks for burning, hammering surfaces. I will supply rock bases harvested from the shores of Lake Michigan, and extra of everything.
