Explore an exciting range of texture techniques to create unique mixed media jewelry! Students will work with acrylic mediums, pastes, and color, along with polymer clay, to develop both subtle looks and statement pieces. We will hand sculpt relief texture from acrylic gels and pastes, make acrylic skins and create molds for casting. Learn about "texture mats" and how to make your own so you can achieve stunning effects in clay. You will make at least two necklaces and stud earring sets while building ideas to compose more items beyond class time. This workshop will also cover basic necklace assembly techniques and easy beadwork. All levels welcome!
