In this workshop, I will teach you a variety of artistic ways to use watercolor paints with water-soluble and permanent inks to create several paintings. I will show you my techniques on how to create loose and colorfully watercolor paintings. We will explore unique ways to embellish and add dimension to our paintings with inks, acrylic paints, rubber stamps, and ribbons. Combining pen and ink and other mixed media with watercolor creates an exciting and spectacular look in paintings. We will pick our favorite masterpiece and adhere it to a 1 ½ inch thick wooden board creating a painting that can be mounted and showcased on the wall!
