Painted Postcards

$ 180

The iconic, humble postcard has long been a treasured greeting sent by travelers to their loved ones back home. You can create hand-painted postcard as a special gift, a page in your watercolor journal, or even mail them to yourself as you travel along your journey and put them in your journal when you return.
With just a few watercolor and mixed media painting supplies, you learn many new techniques to make your postcards fun and interesting. We will embellish the message side of your postcard as well as the front with small sketches, rubber stamps and hand-painted ribbons that connect the two sides transforming a piece of paper into a work of art. Painted postcards are an easy and fun way to send home a colorful joyful message and to share cherished moments in an artistic way.
