This joyful painting is all about creating a colorful and interesting background. The step by step instruction allows painters of all levels to complete a successful painting. We will be using a wet into wet technique to create the under painting and then proceed to carving out geometric shapes in the background. Each time I paint this piece it turns out a little different and that is a good thing. Yours will be your own unique piece of art. I expect most paintings to be about 80% completed in class.

Materials Fee $25 paid at beginning of class includes:

• Written instructions and color photo
• Arches 140 lb cold press watercolor paper (15” x 11”) with traced design on it
• Mijello Mission Gold paints used in this painting
• Moo Eraser
• Foam plate/pallet for watercolor paint
• Use of rubber stamps and misc. supplies
