Awake your creative spirit and feed your soul within in this creativity workshop exploring artistic play through creative, spiritual, inspiration. Students will learn the process of altered books and art journaling through repurposing an old book using several mixed media techniques - acrylic paints, collaging, stamping, ink pens, stencils¬¬, and much more. Nurture your creative spirit in a relaxed atmosphere of refreshment, refinement, and rejuvenation and give your imagination permission to play! No art, drawing, or painting experience necessary to enjoy this class – only a willingness to play!
Materials Fee $25 paid at beginning of class includes:
Prepared Books to Alter, GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics, Gesso, & Matte Medium, Brushes, Inspirational words to collage, Reference Photos, Handouts, & more!
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
water container, & paper towels
Optional: students may choose bring various personal ephemra – ie, inspirational words & quotes, old photos & handwritten pages to collage, etc…
