Who doesn’t love a party?! This class is for those party-girls and guys out there who like to dance with their brush, take risks with their color, and meet some new ideas about how to make a painting sing! Students will discover how to pick exciting color combinations and how to use and paint negative space - reinforcing design principles in the most fun, exciting way! They will take delicious, surprising prepared surfaces with wild patterns and color - the party! – and paint simple, elegant compositions on top. There will be no wallflowers at this party because everyone will get asked to dance! So who wants to have a party?!
Materials Fee $25 paid at beginning of class includes:
Collaged Ampersand Aquabord, GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics, Gesso, & Matte Medium, Brushes, StencilGirl Stencils (Trish’s designs), Reference Photos, Handouts, & more!
