This class honors the more real beach bombshells.
This is fun “paintover” class. Paintover is a term used to describe painting on top of black and white photocopies. The chosen images are of women beach goers who show their best sides! Which means, no faces to paint.
Learn how to colorize and paint on the images, then learn how to adhere them to a substrate without causing bubbles, tears or wrinkles. Lastly, the finished piece(s) get varnished with UV protection. These works make entertaining art that invite conversation and win awards!
Kit fee of $65 includes:
everything you need for this class including but not limited to: ! Including but not limited to: photocopies, paint, brushes, markers, pencils, medium and varnish, wood panel substrates, scissors, paper towels, palette paper and a water can.
Optional: you can bring your own images, paper elements. And if you feel more comfortable using your own tools you can bring brushes, palette, watercan, apron, gloves and paper towels
If you prefer to bring your own supplies and/or images, let the teacher know up to a week before class.
