Thiebaud generously shared his techniques and theories throughout his life making them assessable today. This class offers insight into the oeuvre of the iconic "WT style." You will walk away with up to 3 Thiebaud-style paintings featuring cakes and pies as well as a better understanding of how color works juxtaposed next to each other.
Also, you will learn techniques as to how to create the frosting-like texture atop the cakes and how to create the sweet shiny juiciness of cherry pie filling. You will want to run your finger over it to have a taste.
