Join me on an artistic journey! Learn how to transform your own travel experiences into paintings. Finding inspiration from urban sketching and using our colorful watercolors, we will paint scenes in and around quaint Italian and French villages. Even though we will not be going out and about to paint on location in a town, I will have photos and reference materials for you to use. You will learn how to simplify scenes and use perspective to recreate local scenes. You will learn about successful color mixing and a variety of ways to use pen and ink. Every corner becomes a possible painting as you learn to paint the world around.
Materials Fee $15 paid at beginning of class includes:
Gouache, Acrylic paint, Latex paint, extra watercolor paint, inks, artist tape, specialty watercolor paper, reference photos, tracing paper
