Let's throw convention out the window and use some non-conventional techniques and tools to create amazing prints with our gel plates. Who needs a brayer, anyway?

Instructor Will Provide:

handout
stencils and stamps for sharing
collage fodder for sharing
marking tools for sharing
 

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

Your art journal
A gel plate (like Gelli Arts, Gel Press, etc). No bigger than 8x10
Lots of paper or cardstock to print on. I like Hammermill Color Copy digital in both text and cover weight.
Acrylic gesso
Acrylic paints
6 to 8 Pieces of cardboard cut from a cardboard box (small pieces to fit in your hand)
Marking tools like Scribble Sticks, Stabilo All pencils, etc.
Paint pens like Posca
Spray bottle with water
Paint brushes
Wipes/paper towels/water container to wash brushes
Plain collage paper tissue or deli paper
