Create a unique, earthy journal combining album style pages and signatures with a soft cover and unique, spineless binding. We will assemble your book in class and you can take home to add embellishments, trims, and personal touches.

Materials Fee $25 paid in CASH at beginning of class includes:

pre-printed digital papers, vintage papers, other unique papers, fabric, envelopes, and fibers needed to construct your book. Shared paints.

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

- Pencil for marking
- Scissors, for both fabric and paper
- Favorite glue
- Kraft knife, blades, and cutting matt
- Paper cutter and extra blade
- Score board and scoring tool (I will have a few to share)
- ¼” strong adhesive tape (ScorTape or similar)
- Piercing tool or awl
- ¾” wide paint brush
- Cup for water
- Hand sewing needles and large eye needle for binding signatures
- Paper towels or paint rag
- Spray bottle with water (small is fine)
- Non stick matt or freezer paper

Additional Supplies
- ½” Washi Tape in a neutral or accent color of your choice
- Any additional personal papers, tags or embellishments you wish to add
- Thread and machine sewing needles for machine stitching if you plan to use machine stitching.
- You will need spray ink, colored pencils, water soluble crayons, paint, ink for edging paper, etc. to complete book but not necessarily for in class.
- Heat tool

Optional Items:
- I used machine stitching on the sample. I will have a few machines available for use but if you can easily bring one, please do.
