Combine Spirit Dolls and paper dolls to make unique tags in an amazing mixed media journal. Learn unique construction techniques and fun embellishments to make your book uniquely your own.

Materials Fee $ 30 paid in CASH at beginning of class includes:

air-dry clay faces, some vintage papers, fabric, envelopes, tags, acetate and trim for cover, and fibers. I will have an assortment of stencils to share.

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

- Pencil for marking
- Scissors, for both fabric and paper
- Favorite glue
- Kraft knife, blades, and cutting matt
- Paper cutter and extra blade
- Score board and scoring tool (I will have a few to share)
- ¼” strong adhesive tape (ScorTape or similar)
- Piercing tool or awl
- Inexpensive paint brushes in various sizes and widths
- Hand sewing needles and large eye needle for binding signatures
- Paper towels or paint rag
- Spray bottle with water (small is fine)
- Non stick matt or freezer paper
- Matte Medium and brush for applying
- Cup for water
- Lightweight Molding Paste for stenciling

Additional Supplies
- (3) 12” x 12” dark neutral heavy paper or cardstock
- (3) 12” x 12” light neutral heavy paper or cardstock
- (3-4) sheets of 9 x 12 black watercolor or mixed media paper
- 1/3 yd prewashed and ironed flat canvas or heavy fabric for cover ( tea or eco dye in advance optional)
- Any additional personal papers, collage fodder papers, tags or embellishments you wish to use
- Favorite stencils, stamps, paints (either acrylic and watercolor) and mediums
- Spray ink, colored pencils, water soluble crayons, paint, ink for edging paper, etc. to complete book
- Washi Tape in a neutral or accent colors of your choice
