Let’s Play with Clay …. and get Stamping!
We will create simple stamps using polymer clay and different mark making tools, making a collection of your own stamped designs. And then, using a blend of acrylic inks and mediums, we will stamp the patterns onto cotton fabric and/or paper, creating a pile of your images in a wide variety of colorways.
These prints can be stitched upon and collaged onto a backing fabric. My preference is to use free-motion machine stitching but this process will also be beautiful with easy hand embroidery. And if you’d prefer to skip sewing altogether, I will share how this process works beautifully on paper. You can choose to make wonderful paper collages with your stamps, adding details with a variety of ink pens.

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

Fabric and paper scissors
An art apron or old clothes
Optional: Simple design sketches if you have some specific ideas. But no worries….I will bring loads of images for your inspiration.
