Make a one-of-a-kind necklace that looks like draped satin. In this fun workshop you’ll learn to work polymer clay with a minimum of tools. After rolling out a thin sheet of clay, you’ll drape and shape to your liking. Then bake in a toaster oven – an oven dedicated to polymer clay is not required. While your piece is baking, you’ll make a multi-strand necklace with a magnetic clasp. After baking, your design will be varnished and a bail and freshwater pearl will be added. Materials Fee $25 cash paid at beginning of class includes: Clay, pearls, varnish, yarns for necklace including findings and use of all tools and supplies. Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
Only your imagination. An apron, reading glasses and battery-operated lighting are optional. |
