This class will teach you to work polymer clay with a minimum of tools – items you may already have or that can be purchased at your local hardware store. You’ll roll out a sheet of clay, cover with silver leaf and alcohol inks and when dry, you’ll roll again to create the crackle, then cut out your desired shape. While your piece is baking, you’ll make an adjustable length suede necklace embellished with onyx and silver beads. After baking, you’ll sand, if necessary, varnish and add a bail. Materials Fee $25 cash paid at beginning of class includes: Clay, silver leaf, alcohol inks, varnish, faux suede and beads for necklace including findings and use of all tools and supplies.
