Animals make us laugh and bring contentment to our lives. Spend the day creating imaginative watercolor portraits of your special pet friends. No drawing skills needed! We’ll paint with watercolors and create glaze layers to portray fun, imaginative colors and perhaps an outfit and accessories! We’ll work with Masa paper which is a rice paper that will be manipulated to a batiklike surface. Pick up your pencils and learn how to add color changes and textures to the watercolor surface. Finish off the work with a special acrylic protective layer and varnish to seal the painting.
Materials Fee $15 paid at beginning of class includes:
Masa paper, glue, tracing papers, acrylic paints for borders, acrylic
medium and varnish.
I will provide extra brushes and other tools to use while we work.
