Discover the creative freedom of mixed-media collage. In this day long workshop participants will create an 11x14 mixed-media collage that showcases a word or quote that inspires you.

You will be guided step by step in how to layer paint and collage as well as other mediums to create a vibrant, inspiring artwork. Using a variety of papers for collage including vintage paper, sheet music, florals, old magazines and many other types, participants will be taught how to artfully collage and add acrylic paint to create a tapestry of rich layers. I’ll provide All the Supplies including a range of words and quotes as well as access to my vintage alphabet rubber stamp. You Just Bring You.

This day long workshop is ideal for the beginner who wants to try mixed-media collage as well as the seasoned art maker who wants to learn some new tricks and techniques. This class is designed to inspire and spark your creative mojo!

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

Just bring You! All materials provided, except for scissors. If you prefer cutting pieces for collage, plan to bring a pair. You are also welcome to bring any collage elements or mediums you want to use for your artwork.
