One of my favorite things to do is journal on the go! When my kids were little, I found it hard to pack a bunch of supplies with me, plus I didn't always have a lot of time to art journal, so my usual painting methods felt extravagant and hard to make time for. So I started carrying a Moleskine Cahier journal with me and a few dry supplies (paper, stickers, vintage playing cards, recycled junk mail, envelopes, library cards, washi tape, etc) and I found that I could create pages FULL of color and texture without any water-based media at all! It was so freeing! I'd love to share an evening showing you how to create tons of pages in your own journals whether it's for memory keeping, list-making, art journaling, and more! We'll explore how to build layers, focal images, grids, list making/planner-style layouts, how to incorporate photos, stamping, creative & decorative lettering techniques. I'll also talk about my favorite journaling supplies, how/why I use them, and more!
