NOTE: Sewing Machine Experience Required

Pattern is everywhere in our natural and manufactured world. We often crave these patterns in our life, but as artists we love to rip them apart and create a new world. We will explore these impulses during two days of classes. Spend the first day creating patterns, carving them in rubber, and printing them on to painted fabric. During the second day tearing it all to pieces and stitch it together in an entirely new improv pattern.
